Hello! This semester, we took a class where students learn to tie the fundamental principles of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) across virtual and physical boundaries to create autonomous robots able to perceive, reason about, and act upon their environment. Specifically, we were able to design and fabricate a robot able to navigate and map out a maze in the shortest possible time.
A robot that successfully follows a line and traverses a grid in a figure eight.
A robot that successfully follows a wall and detects other robots.
A robot that traverses a maze using a search algorithm, specifically DFS.
A robot that distinguishes different colors and shapes for treasure hunting.
Synthesis and analysis of the robot design for final competition!
